What you get

Built for the shot you are standing over

Front, middle and back

Real distances to all three points of the green, measured from the actual mapped green edges — not an estimate either side of the pin.

Playing-like distance

Adjusts your yardage for wind and elevation, so an uphill shot into the breeze tells you the club you actually need.

Notes that come back

Write what you learned on a hole. Next time you play it, the note is waiting for you on the tee.

Scoring and handicap

Full scorecard with stroke index, net-to-par as you play, and an indicative WHS handicap index from your rounds.

Shot tracing

Record a swing and get the ball flight traced, ready to share.

UK courses built in

Over 3,000 UK courses in the catalogue, with per-hole GPS on the mapped ones and more added every week.

Playing-like distance

150 yards is rarely 150 yards

A ten mile per hour headwind adds roughly fifteen yards to a mid-iron. Ten metres of climb adds ten more. FairwaySplitter reads live wind at your position and the elevation change to your target, then tells you what the shot actually plays like.

Elevation comes from a surveyed digital terrain model rather than your phone's altimeter, so it does not drift with the weather.

Uphill 10 m+10

Questions

Common questions

Which courses are supported?

The catalogue covers more than 3,000 UK courses. Around a thousand have full per-hole GPS today, and we map more every week — prioritised by what players actually ask for in the app.

Does it work without signal?

Course data and your hole notes are cached on your phone, so they stay readable in the middle of a round when signal drops.

Do I need a handicap to use it?

No. You can play and score without one. If you record rounds, the app calculates an indicative handicap index for you.
