Everything in the bag
FairwaySplitter is built around one idea: give you a number you can trust, then get out of the way.
On the course
Distances you can act on
Front, middle and back
Every mapped hole carries the real front and back edges of the green, derived from the mapped green polygon rather than guessed from the pin.
Playing-like distance
Live wind at your position and the elevation change to your target, folded into a single number: what the shot plays like.
Layup planning
Drag a layup point anywhere on the hole and watch both distances update as you move it.
Works from the tee
Distances are available before GPS locks, measured from the tee, so the number is there when you walk up.
Course knowledge
Remember what you learned
Notes on any hole
Write what caught you out. The note is attached to that hole on that course and comes back every round.
Readable offline
Notes are cached on the phone, so a signal blackspot in the middle of the round does not hide them.
Browse off the course
Everything you have written, grouped by course, for the night before a round.
Scoring
A scorecard that keeps up
Full scorecard
Shots, putts, sand saves and penalties per hole, with stroke index and net-to-par as you play.
Playing handicap by tee
Course and slope ratings per tee set, rated separately for men and women, so your handicap reflects the tees you are actually on.
Indicative handicap index
Calculated from your recorded rounds using the WHS method. Indicative only, never presented as an official index.
