Yes, and you can put it at the front of the queue. Pick the course during setup, or open it in the app — we record every course players ask for and map the most-requested ones first. You can still score a round manually on an unmapped course in the meantime.

Check you have granted precise location permission, and give the phone a moment to get a proper fix — the first reading after opening the app is the least accurate. If a specific hole is consistently wrong, email us the course and hole number and we will re-check the mapping.

It is your line-of-sight yardage adjusted for the wind at your position and the elevation change to your target. A headwind and an uphill both make the shot play longer. It is a guide based on established rules of thumb, not a physics simulation.

The figure in the app is an indicative index calculated from the rounds you have recorded here, using the WHS method. It is not an official index and will not match one unless you have recorded the same rounds with your club. Never use it where an official index is required.

Profile, then Club Distances — or the Clubs button on the GPS screen. Any club you leave blank uses our default. Enter carry distance rather than total, and the club suggestions will follow your game.

Subscriptions are managed by the app store you bought through, so cancellation happens there: on iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store app, Payments and subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.

In the app: Profile, then Delete Account. You can also request deletion from our account deletion page. Deletion removes your rounds, notes, videos and profile.

GPS use during a round does consume battery. Closing the app between holes is not necessary, but on an older phone a small power bank is worth carrying for a full eighteen.
